Preparation
Flat glass sheets are cleaned and cut to the desired dimensions.
Heating
he glass is heated in a furnace to approximately 600°C (1100°F), making it pliable for bending.
Shaping
The softened glass is placed over or inside a curved mold. Depending on the method, gravity alone may allow the glass to conform to the mold's shape, or mechanical force may be applied for more complex curves.
Cooling
The curved glass is slowly cooled to room temperature, a process known as annealing, to relieve internal stresses and ensure structural integrity.
